Food Processor by Saladmaster - working with carrots - watch out for fingers
Let’s Begin!

Have some fun with your Food Processor from my friend Kelly from Happy Carrot. The video explains what to do when your new processor arrives. I recommend buying a bag of carrots to practice. You don’t give someone a knife, and if they have never used one and expect them to make a flower out of a pepper! So start slow and pay attention. You will be shredding like a pro in no time.

# 1 Cone Shredder

For finely shredded vegetables, carrots, beets, zucchini angel hair pasta, broccoli spears, ginger, hard cheese, dry or toasted bread, crackers, nuts and bar chocolate. Also great for zesting citrus fruits and grating potatoes for hash browns.

# 2 Cone Stringer

For cutting foods into medium-sized “strings.” Perfect for ricing cauliflower, making zucchini noodles, sweet potato noodles, and shredding cheeses. This is the cone I use for onion the most.

# 3 Cone French Fryer

Perfect for cutting potatoes for mashed or french fries, sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin and apples for a pie or crumble.

# 4 Cone Thin Slicer

Straight cut for days you don’t feel fancy. Perfect for potato chips, carrots, cabbage, and celery. I use this one to rice broccoli heads.

# 5 Cone Waffler

For fancy waffled cuts of fruits and vegetables.
